Instituted 1982. Awarded to all personnel who took part in operations in the
South Atlantic for the liberation of South Georgia & the Faulkland Islands following
the Argentinian invasion. To qualify the recipient had to have at least 1 days full service
in the Faulklands or South Georgia.
